if using benm tethering, Is uprgading to 3.1 a no no ?

using benm tethering thingy for two months now, And its fine, I heard that people that have upgraded to the 3.1 beta have lost use of this, Is this the case ?

Just so i know to aviod upgrading when its released. If this is the case, Then would i be best staying on 3.0 until benm confirm an update that works with 3.1 ?

because i dont care what 3.1 updates or fixes, it wont be worth losing tethering ability.

With the release of iPhone OS 3.1 beta 2, tethering via the IPCC hack no longer works for AT&T customers.
