Seeking input from Mac users that are concerned regarding seemingly increasing Apple blackbox/proprietary telemetry such as noted in this blog post in February. In this post, p-capping showed connections to dozens of hostnames after a fresh MacOS install without being logged into any accounts such as iCloud.

If you are concerned about such telemetry, what mitigating strategies do you employ?

- Anyone running Little Snitch with custom domain blocking targeting some of these connections?
- Lulu used?
- Any customs DNS blocking with Pi-hole (or similar) targeting MacOS connections?
- Anyone go so far as to run a Mac air-gapped over concerns about telemetry?

Would like to avoid rehashing the virtues of Apple, how Apple is better than Google/Facebook/Microsoft/Amazon/etc, Apple's stated dedication to privacy, Apple security measures, etc. I'm not a troll but a lifelong Apple fan growing increasingly concerned RE Apple's closed telemetry.

Thank you
