she should be able to speak each turn like a regular navigator. Otherwise she should just open up your favorite navigation app and input the address there and let the app take over.

It makes no sense to just have her open google maps.

Yeah, THAT would be awesome. But, keep in mind, this is just a beta release. There is plenty of growth ahead and I would be willing to bet anything that spoken turn-by-turn directions will be something Siri can provide users.

That would be cool.... and yes, people are forgetting this is a beta offering. I think it kicks butt as is and will only improve in the future.

I'm guessing by the next software update, it'll be out of beta. I'm guessing by 5.1 (5.2 at the latest) that it'll be out of beta, and have even more improvements.
