I just reserved one on apple.com and I'm going to my local Apple store tomorrow to pick it up. On the What to bring when buying your iPhone page it says I need to bring in my old phone. I don't want to activate it in-store and just want to take it home still in the original packaging.

I'll be able to do this right?

No, thisis generally if this is your first iPhone and you're transferring from a dumb phone. also not necessary to bump your own thread in less than 90 minutes.
