If you buy an unlocked phone do you get a lower monthly rate

If you buy an unlocked phone and attach it to ATT or Verizon will your monthly rate be lower that if you get the subsidized phone?

I'm not sure that I've seen anything on the websites that offer a lower monthly charge.

Nope. You pay the same exact price as someone who has a subsidized phone.

Only big 4 carrier that offers a lower rate is T-Mobile.

No, neither Verizon nor at&t give you a discount on your monthly bill if you buy an unlocked phone.
