Is it just me or does anyone else wanna be different and unique and change the color of the notebook? I'm assuming that since we're mac users, we're already unique so y not take it a step further?

if so, what color?

Apparently some like to really change it up. I simply don't have the time.

Well, i went to some website and they actually spraypaint your notebook to a color you choose but its freakin $450 for the service! and they void your warranty since they have to take it apart and paint the parts separately. i thought i saw a product out there that you can actually use some kind of colored stickers to cover each side of the notebook... but i can't find the site again...

There are several companies who do this..here is one:

www.colorwarepc.com

But I like my black macbook exactly how it is.

yea, that's the one i was talking about. but its really expensive!

i'm just curious if others are willing to do it if they had the resources via spraypaint, stickers, etc... i would love to have my macbook pro in black... just like the color and texture of the ipod mini... :D

I have a MacStyle on my laptop, but only on the inside. Didn't want to pay for one on the outside too, but it was tempting. Doesn't void the warranty that way either (though now that my palm rests have cracked I'm faced with the dilemma of deciding whether I should replace it or deal with it and keep my sticker).

I'm somewhat ambivalent overall though, I mostly got the one I have to keep the palm rests clean, not to personalize it, though I do enjoy having it. Basically, I don't think I'd pay much, if any extra to do it, but it's a nice touch.
