If you can’t pre-order the X on launch day, who’s falling back to the 8/8+?

You stay up late to pre-order the iPhone X but darn, some dude across the pond got a hold of the last one and shipping dates slipped to months! Will you wait or fall back to the 8/8+?

Im my case, I’m passing my iPhone 6+ to a buyer when the X is supposed to be in my hands. I am committed now and cannot back-out or else I’ll lose on a good sale.

I only have one phone and cannot afford to be with none so I really have no choice but to choose what’s available once my old phone disappears. Are you on a more relaxed situation?

Yup. Have tons of phones released this year alone

No way. The 8 Plus is basically the same phone I have now, and the X is a total game changer. I will get an X - if the preorder doesn't go well you'll find me in line.
