Just bought a 13" MacBook Pro, if in say 3 months time I want to upgrade the hard drive for SSD, will I invalidate the warranty or anyhong like that???

Nah it'll be fine. Just the item you replace itself wouldn't be warrantied because it wasn't issued with your laptop. So if your HD goes bad, they may or may not replace it for you.

To piggyback off of this if you ever have an issue and take it to Apple put in the original parts as well before going.
