Although no one knows until MWSF, I would like to dream here. What if Apple releases both Mac touch (or a tablet type computer) and ultra-portable macbook (pro) (or mayby one model that does both)?

I'm leaning towards to the ultra-portable because chances are screen resolutions are higher and price tends to be more moderate. The dilema would be since ipod touch / iphone have great user interface, the mac touch might be well better than a traditional tablet that I can imagine. Besides, if the ultra-portable doesn't fall into macbook 'pro', I might as well be better off buying mac touch. Note that physical screen size doesn't matter much as long as they are less than 15".

I'm just dreaming, but what would you, mac gurus, do?

Ultraportable. And I want a docking station!!

Tablet PC's suck unless they are convertibles. The segment is so small for PC's that I doubt Apple would venture into the market.

I'll be at Macworld, so send me an email if you don't find out what was announced! ;) Priority keynote seating!

I think I'd go for an ultra portable because I generally don't like fingerprints on my screens and with a touch/tablet mac, there would be nothing but fingerprints
