Who's that person you really, really want to have been able to sit down with and talk to/hang out with? If you could meet 1 person, dead or alive, who would it be? Why?

I'd meet myself on my deathbed. Why? Because he'd tell me everything I need to know.

And remember, tomorrow's yesterday is today.

Anne Frank.

Because I remember reading her diary (the real, unedited one) when I was around the same age as she was when she wrote it...and I remember questioning how she was able to be so strong and so real under the most heinous of circumstances.

I'd love some of that strength to rub off on me.

Jesus. I would probably get from him what I believe according to his words, and not the current political/religious speak which is pretty much there to get votes and not further Christianity. It would be great to see what he says vs. what the pundits who use his religion for politics say. It would probably be quite opposite. :)

There would be a language barrier speaking with Jesus, the historical figure. He probably spoke Aramaic. He may have also spoken some Hebrew and koine Greek, but most of us would have a hard time understanding the English spoken just a few hundred years ago.

I think given the utter ridiculousness of this thread (being given the opportunity to meet someone who has been dead for several millenia), something as simple as a language barrier would not likely further exacerbate this already improbable and impossible scenario.

He's Jesus...

Anyway, If you question allows us to go back in time to meet these people, I would go back and meet someone from the middle ages, give them a bunch of technology, then go back to the year 2011 and witness the FUTURE of technology.

If it doesn't allow us to go back in time, then I would probably meet Jesus too.

whoever is responsible for building the Pyramids in Egypt ... and no, not who Egyptologists say it is ... the real builders
