If you couldn't get top dollar for iPad 2 would u get the 3

If you could only get a third of what you paid for your iPad 2 would people still upgrade yearly, and would they keep the iPad 2? My iPad 2 is going to my daughter who loves it and I am buying an iPad 3 with my work bonus.

i doubt i would upgrade on a yearly basis. in fact, i normally don't upgrade that early. but was really wanting the higher rez screen so prompted me to sell a bit earlier....but got way more than 2/3 of the original price.
