If you do the Apple trade in, do you have to send in your watch band too?

Hi everyone,

If I order the watch series 7 from Apple.com and do the trade in for my old watch, do I have to send in the band too? Or do they let you just send in the watch with no band?

The only band I have still is an expensive one that I bought.... seems really lame if you have to send in an expensive band to do the trade in....

Just wondering if anyone has done this before....

You do not have to return your watch band. They only want the watch itself. Bands are able to be purchased separately so they are yours to keep.

My neighbor wanted to trade in her AW at Best Buy, and they wouldn’t take it without the original band. I understand that it’s different with Apple, but it’s a valid question.

No, you do not return the band. I've traded in one of my older model Apple watches, they did not ask for the band.
