For me, it's the notebook I'm on now. ThinkPad T60.

What about you guys?

And, on a side note, I joined here in October to post in the setups thread. I didn't come back until December. Now, I'm finally a 6502!!! Yay!!!

Definitely a Thinkpad. Nothing else comes close.

Just ordered a few of them for a few people where I moonlight as an admin. Considering getting one for myself after using them for a bit. Very solid, and the keyboard is heavenly.

I've used an HP laptop everyday for the last 6 months, and its been great. Before this one, I had an old HP laptop that lasted me for 3 1/2 years. So, I would choose HP.

thinkpad for work, bought the wife a cheap acer. it is built pretty good and didn't cost a lot. didn't want to spend $$$ on an apple, all she does is use office, email, and web.

I couldn't get myself to buy a Dell ever, but if I were to buy a PC laptop I'd get a Sony.

Definitely a Vaio or a thinkpad. I'm going into college and portability is key! HP laptops are also quite reliable and they're slowly improving their "designer" look too.

That's what I like to read!!! Teh keyboards on the T43 and earlier are better than those on the T/R60 or higher. Actually, my T60 seems flimsier than my T41 was. Curse you lenovo!

I would use a HP too, but Dell is a good brand too (they're the only PC brands I've had experience with :D).

Then again, I wouldn't use a PC laptop in the first place ;).

ThinkPad

I have had a ThinkPad for 8 years now, it is unbreakable. Don't know about the new ones though (after Lenovo).

I do. I bought HP, but Dell would also do.

I'd avoid Sony like the plague as they're desperately unreliable (I've seen more faulty Sony Vaio laptops than all the other brands put together).
