My cMP has the WiFi BTLE board upgrade. I tend to lock my screen and unlocking with a decent password is a real problem.

I just got MacID for iPhone/Watch and just love it. It locks and unlocks based on proximity. You can also use your watch for unlocking Admin requests by tapping. And it works with multiple Macs!

I love MacID too, although you don't need an Apple Watch. It also works with an iPhone/iPad/iPod (as long as it has BT4.0/BTLE). I keep my phone in my pocket so in general the auto lock/unlock works fine.

Apologies for digging up an old thread, but I'm curious as to what Wifi/BTLE board you are referencing above? I'd love to get native support on my cMP 5,1 for Apple Watch unlock and am curious as to how close this would get me (which has to be a lot closer than where I'm at right now with the OEM/original card)...
