I am curious, if you have the old poorer quality LCD, will Apple give you a new one for free, or do they not budge?

Does it depend on the store and how much of a fuss that particular person makes?
 
From what I've read around here, they'll replace the panel, but you get one of the same production run back.

Seems people with 9C89 will get the 9C8C as the replacement.
