Weird question - If I install the iOS 15 beta, do you have to install the WatchOS 8 beta?

There might be a problem with the S0 watch running watchOS 4 paired to iOS15.
It looks like you end up with fast battery drains and endless boot loops.

To those who installed the 8 beta: has it completely killed sleep tracking for you (as it has for me)? My watch isn’t getting any of the new “focus modes” synced to it.

I have the WatchOs 8 Beta 4 and it's killing the battery so fast - put it on at 9AM and now at ~3:45 has 8% left.
They need to fix that.

Ouch. Good to know. I installed the betas on my iPad Pro and iPhone 12 Pro but not on my M1 MacBook Air or watches.

What model?
I have it installed on my S4, S5 and S6 - battery usage is pretty normal, maybe just a little worse than before on watchOS 7.

For those running WatchOs 8 current beta, does anyone notice with Music, you can't select a song from a playlist? You can see the playlist and scroll it, but a push on the song on the watch does nothing? This has been like this for me since beta 1 and I keep thinking the new one will fix it but it has not. I have reported it but just want some confirmations. I can hit play or shuffle from the top of the playlist and it plays, but selecting a song manually is dead.

Specifically, this is when I am using the watch to source the music over cellular or wifi and not from the phone which is not anywhere near me.

That works ok for me. My Series 6 has the latest watchOS 8 beta.

I run without my iPhone and can select specific songs from a playlist. It’s all streamed over cellular.

Thanks for checking for me. Spotify works perfectly. It is just Apple Music that’s in the cloud.
