So I took my iPhone 4 to be returned to a local Apple store. And they told me it needs to be shipped back. So I called Apple after waiting on hold for over 20 minutes, and I got all of the return info I needed. However, I was told I needed to call AT&T separately to cancel my contract (I was a new customer).

So I called, and this woman had no idea what she was doing. She told me I needed to speak to the Premier people, and when she connected me to them, an automated message told me to call back. I called AT&T's main number back, and the guy told me that once Apple receives the phone, my contract will automatically be cancelled- really? Even in the e-mail Apple sent me, it specifically states that you need to call AT&T and THEY need to cancel your service. So AT&T's rep told me he will put a note on my account, and if it's not cancelled once Apple receives the phone, to call them.

This is the most unorganized thing ever.
