their computer?

example: I was given a windows laptop, sprint wireless card, and VPN fob to log into the network. I would like to use my MBP and entourage. if i were to set up entourage, would i still be able to connect using the wireless card, the VPN, and if so, would my company know that i was not using their computer?

Thanks!
M

I assume they would, but maybe only the MAC of the pc card is given. Either way, if you're risking your employment doing this, I'd seek authorization first.

BTW, they can always look at the packets on the inside - so even if they can't tell you're on a Mac, they can tell where you're going and what you're doing.

how do i go about doing this?

Doing what? I said that if they wanted to look at your packets, they could.

I can only suggest tunneling traffic over SSH if you really want to hide. They could tell you're connecting somewhere via SSH, and they would know how much data you transfer, just not what it is.

Google SSH tunneling for more info; It's how I hide at work.
