iCloud If you're using iCloud Private Relay and turn on a VPN, what happens?

I have a technical question:

If you are always running iCloud Private Relay on your Mac, but then turn on your third-party VPN, which takes the traffic–iCloud Private Relay or the VPN?

I can't be both, so which service is tunneling your traffic if both are enabled?

In my usage, the VPN takes precedence. You can test it by going to an IP address check website and see who the ISP shows as.
