Just did the update to ifile and now it does not work.

I get the ifile screen, no icons and nothing works now :(

Be warned, don't do the update yet!
 
Thanks for the heads up, sorry for the hassle to you though. There are a few apps I don't update for a few days, waiting to see if there will be issues. iFile's one of them; I'm too dependent on it on both the iPad and iPhone to risk losing it.

You might email the Dev through Cydia to let him know what happened.

It has done something real strange now, has gone into it Safe Mode now.... Still trying to get the bottom of it... And the file seems to be working again, powered it off and restarted it..

Had to change a setting in the winterboard and now it has got back to normal :)

Well this blows, I wish I read this thread before I downloaded...iFile is completely useless, DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
 
From the iPhone Hacks side--looks like a reboot fixes the problem for most people. Uninstall/reinstall fixed it for others.
