Anybody tried this application? I am using it, and I think it is great. I wanna know how others feel about this. It's more like a social networking thing and its pretty awesome. Has been updated to work on the 1.1.3. Using it now and I love it. Just have to find some close by iFob users in Houston area...LOL. Hope to get to know more of you soon

it's funny how people want to get to know other people, but they're just a bit too shy to make the first move. we need apps like ifob to help us out. what a world...

Does this iFob work only on jail-broken Touches?
This is what it says on the iFob site...
"You either need to have your iPod touch or iPhone updated to accept 3rd party applications, or you will need a device that has been "jailbroken" with the widely available "jailbreak" software."

Yeah

Yeah it has to be jailbroken as it is the only way to get it installed on there. Mine is 1.1.3 and Jailbroken

this app is useless on the iTouch.
but it would be great on the iPhone.

why is it useless on iTouch?

because this country decided to not have WiFi anywhere. esp in the financial capital of the world. how can it be that NYC doesnt have free WiFi everywhere?

baffling.

Doesn't it make sense that, in "the financial capital of the world," nothing—especially not WiFi—is free?

ok, fine, i'm even willing to pay.

but there is NO service to even pay for to let you get wi-fi except for star-ripmeoff-bucks.

and thats ridiculous.

What does everyone else use for WiFi? (besides home...)
