It is that time of the year where I need a new laptop for school. I am studying Industrial Design: Product Design and I need a high end laptop that allows me to do 3D design and rendering along with other stuff I do like gaming, video editing, etc.

Would I benefit from the 750m dedicated GPU on the low-end late 2013 rMBP? or would I be just fine with the Iris Pro of a 2.3/512/16 rMBP?

Any help is greatly appreciated when it comes to making this decision.

What games? And yes, the 750M will give you better performance for anything 3D.
