iGPU differences between i3 and i5/i7

So as i understand it the MBA i3 uses a Iris Plus G4 Graphics and the i5/i7 use the Iris Plus G7 Graphics.

According to the link below both make use of what ever physical ram is available, but the G7 tests out about 33% faster ?

Is this correct ?

Yes, correct. Another advantage to going with the i5/i7 CPU.

G7 (i7 and i5) has 64 GPU EUs compared to 48 in the G4.

the i7 also has a higher GPU frequency compared to the other two - 1100 MHz compared to 1050 and 900.

if I am not mistaken, the GPU can also tap into L3 cache and there are progressive enhancements there as well. 4MB on i3, 6MB on i5 and 8MB on i7.

id be surprised if the i7 is only 33% faster compared to the i3, taking the above into account.
