Yes it fits.
Played Pandora thru it.
Still does not charge while docked.
Yeah, I checked mine also.
Fit's with the grill off, but blocks a third of each speaker.
Looks stupid to be honest and I just prefer streaming via a blue tooth adapter.

It should charge slowly when the screen is off.
When the iPad says "Not Charging" it usually is because that charger doesn't supply enough juice to run it and charge it at once. Turn screen off and it will charge very slowly. Overnight should be long enough to top it off.
