While I've done quite a bit of computer repair. I've been wanting to give circuit board repair a shot. So, I've got some dead IIcx for cheap as sacrificial lambs in my learning.

I've already replaced the batteries on them. They all exhibit the same issue. The PSU relay just clicks repeatedly whether I use the rear power switch or soft power on over ADB. Well one doesn't one PSU will run but there is no other sign of life. As soon as I try to test the voltage it usually just starts clicking.

Anyways my first step is to recap the motherboards. All look clean with no sign of leakage. So, I'm not worried about trace damage. I just want to verify I'm ordering the right caps.

They don't seem to carry the 220uF in Panasonic or Nichicon. I'm hoping Evox Rifa is a good brand too. I just chose the Panasonic since they match the original in appearance. I'm not sure if the Nichicon they carry are a visual match too or if they are the box shaped one.

None of the PSU caps show any signs of leaking or bulging. I read one article of replacing the diode at D15 with two in a series for the clicking and trickle problems but the 5V trickle coming from the PSU shows as 5v.
