HomeKit IKEA Gateway

Dear all,

Sorry but I am totally new to the HomeKit scene.

I have just brought 2 IKEA LED bulbs and the Gateway. Everything is fine so far. I added the Gateway to HomeKit on my iPhone so I can use the bulbs via HoneKit.

Now comes the issue:
I wanted to do the same with my iPad but the iPad doesn’t find the Gateway in HomeKit. I have to delete the Gateway on my iPhone first to get it paired in HomeKit on my iPad.

Any solution?

If your iPhone and iPad are on the same AppleID, then it should pop up automatically in the Home app on the iPad. If they’re not on the same AppleID, you have to invite the iPad to be a user in your Home.
