I owned the venerable McAlly iceKey for several years with trouble-free performance until recently, when keys began sticking at random and space bar in particular started to fail. I was surprised to find that my local (Austin) Fry's no longer carries the iceKey, since it appears be still in production and available online.
I always prefer buying hardware from brick-and-mortar stores because it's easier to return them if they aren't working out, but it looks like the closest thing I can get to an iceKey at a B&M is the iKey Slim. I really liked the iceKey, and as a professional writer I can get picky about my keyboards.
If you have used both of the keyboards, what do you think -- yea or nay on the Slim?
