iLife 06 HELP!!!!

Sorry about the dumb question but I have a powerbook and G5. Both running Panther , can I still upgrade to iLife 06, being on Panther? CAN you upgrade indivisual apps. (iphoto etc.) Is 06 worth the upgrade????????

Yes, iLife 06 runs on Panther. You might need to get the updates to 10.3.9 at least. It's an upgrade for the whole suite but you can PICK which one you want to install/upgrade.

What iLife apps do you currently/intend to use?

Garageband now includes a useful Podcasting 'studio'.
iMovie now includes some themes, basic audio filters.
iPhoto has a nicer full-screen viewing/editing option and supports a much larger photo library.
iLife 06 introduces iWeb, which is an OK web site editor if you don't have any idea about web page coding/design.

I'd say if you use one of these apps a LOT or 2+ of these apps occasionally, then the upgrade is probably worth it.

I upgraded as I wanted the new iPhoto, Garageband for Podcasting and the new iMovie. I've not actually used iMovie much at all, as I've been using Final Cut Pro instead.
