I'm buying a refurbished Macbook, and instead of coming with the newest ilife 08, it comes with 06. Does this matter and should i care, or should i upgrade it or look for another option.

So basically How Much Better is Ilife 08 compared to the older 06,

Cheers

If you're buying refurbished, it'll have '06 installed, with a disc for '08 in the box. All refurbs come with the most up to date software available, even if it's not installed, and only included in the box.

I just bought a new white iMac from a reseller and it came loaded with iLife '06. Any chance Apple would come up with a free upgrade to '08 or am I just pissing in the wind?
