im thinking about upgrading to the new ilife....
does anyone know if the Australian educational version comes with the iwork demo? id really like to try it out and see if i can ween myself of Word!

Can't answer you question bollywood but I'll take an unhelpful crack at it probably doing so. I bought iWork yesterday (edu) and the box doesn't says that it's the retail version on the barcode sticker - perhaps there's no distinction between the retail and edu versions....

As for iWork I really like it. I've not upgraded Keynote since the first revision so the extra additions are welcome. As for pages it has been a plesant surprise. The templates and abilities make it very complimentary to Word - I'll definitely find myself using Pages for a lot of things I used to log into word for. For me it's well worth the $AU70 edu price tag.

I've usually got a few tabs dedicated to it for a large proportion of the working day. :p
