Hey guys,

Don't flame me or anything, but is this update a free update? I can't picture updating the iLife suite every year for $70-100.

Thanks.

Nobody knows yet, but my guess is that it will NOT be free, just like previous iLife and iWork updates. Some rumors even place it bundled with Leopard. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.

No, it's unlikely that it will be free but's not exactly expensive considering all that you get in the package. A lot of work goes into it.

I didn't buy iLife '06 but I'll probably buy this newer version.

iLife 07 will be $79 or so. It's like photoshop elements, every ~year its $89.

The only hope is that they give you some rebate if you buy Leopard, iLife and iWork together.

I wish they'd offer iLife a la carte. I use almost all of iLife, but my wife only uses iPhoto. I bet they could sell each app for $20 or so and still have great all around sales.
