When I upgrade to Leopard in October, will it come with iLife 08? I want to buy iLife 08 so bad but not if it's going to come with Leopard!

Anyone know?

I would doubt it. I am a newbie here, but I don't believe that iLife has ever been bundled with the OS..only when you buy a new Mac.

I also believe that Jobs has already stated the price for Leopard...129 back at the developers conf. So signs point to no.

It's never been the case, and it's unlikely to ever become the case. Why lose a revenue stream?

It comes with new Macs and that's it, unless you buy it seperately.

Since we're on the subject of iLife '08, if anyone purchased a Mac after Aug. 6, 2007 - you can get a copy of the iLife '08 software for only $9.95 from Apple.
Check this link to see if your Mac qualifies (since most Macs out there as of Aug. 7th still has bundled copies of iLife '06 in the restore DVDs)

I was just curious because iLife is listed as a component on my Tiger install cds that came with both of my Macs.

Yes, iLife is bundled with Macs. However when sold at retail Tiger and iLife are seperate products. Leopard and iLife will be no different IMHO.

Yes, because iLife comes with all Macs! Those discs are different than retail copies of Mac OS X. But when a new version of iLife comes out you have to buy it.
