Canada EH!!!
The Canadian Apple website lists iLife 09 for $99.00 for the single user version. With the online Educational Discount they still want $89.99.

My campus bookstore, here in Canada, is selling them for $59.99 (about $50.00us)!!! :D

Going to install it when I get home!

Yep- the bookstore deals are usually great. My son just got his copy at his bookstore for $39 in California- which the currency translator says is $48 CND. They have iWork for the same price too he mentioned.

I just noticed Final Cut Express for $69- wow. Figures- I pay and he gets the discounts on stuff! :D

Hmm, that link you posted. Can that be used?

Unfortunately no- only if you are an enrolled full time student or staff member at the school (University of California @ San Diego), and even then only for one copy. :( And yes, they do check I.D. every time including online orders- I asked him. ;)

I assume it would be the same at most other colleges, but don't know that for a fact.

I wonder why the prices are so much higher on the Apple website? Strange!

They ask our students for ID for Apple and Microsoft education versions at my university as well.

Cheers.
