iLife 09 disk won't load in my G5....

iLife 09 disk was recognized and installed perfectly on my MBP (OSX 10.5.6). But on my 1.8 G5 (OSX 10.5.6 also), the iLife 09 disk won't even load. I insert it, then after 30 to 45 seconds it ejects the disk.... it never shows up on the desktop. Any ideas? Thanks in advance... Doug

Does the drive exhibit the same behavior with other DVDs (commercial movies or other installer disks- not CDs)?

If you're having problems, make an image of the DVD using Disk Utility and transfer it on memory stick. You can run the installer from an image.

OK... got it working.

I used Disk Warrior and checked all files. It found several errors and fixed all but one..... which I deleted myself. Did the rebuild and now everything works fine. Thank you for your help.... Doug
