Hey all,

Having a wee bit of trouble upgrading my (extensive) library to the new version of iPhoto. Install was smooth as silk, but when I open iPhoto and select the library I wish to convert, it flips it's noodle on me and hangs. Now it must be noted that my iPhoto library is around 70GIG and is on an external HDD hanging off my Airport Extreme (all software etc is up to date) but what appears to happen is that my wifi network drops of and stalls the whole process, which is becoming quite annoying. There appears to be no good reason for my normally reliable wifi to drop (only seems to happen during this process...

Any help or suggestions as to a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Hi Jeffrosproto,

That was the next thing on the list to try... and of course it worked.. The connection with the HDD still dropped while the initial scan was being performed, but it boxed on through like a good little trooper.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers,

Dave.
