ilife '09 to '04 downgrade?

i have a ppc mac running 10.5.7 so i cant run imovie in the new ilife.

i have ilife 04 on cd and my friend let me borrow his ilife 09, i installed it on a fresh copy of osx only to find out imovie and some others wont work. thinking that i wont need imovie i didnt bother to put 04 back on.

now this is what i need help with. i now need imovie and i need to uninstall ilife 09 without losing all of my pictures in iphoto then i need to install ilife 04 and import all the pictures back onto iphoto

how do i go about doing this?

Yeah... not going to happen. I don't even know if '04 will run in Leopard. You may, and I stress may, be able to install just iMovie '04, though '06 would be a much better bet, but I wouldn't even think about uninstalling the entire iLife suite. Just install iMovie '04 and see if it works. No reason to lose the rest of the new suite anyways...
