Just looking at the 'iLife Upgrades' page and saw that they are recommending 'To check back by Jan 12'

http://www.apple.com/ilife/uptodate/

Duff-Man says...I don't believe that has anything at all to do with the release date of iLife 09. If you actually read the page it is for the "up to date" program and the Jan 12 date is for "additional information." I suspect all that means is that at that time they'll post the instructions for those entitled to the $9.95 upgrade price....oh yeah!

Amazon is saying that iLife is going to be releases on 2/20.

Sounds about right. As my order from Apple says:

We estimate your order to be shipped 02 Feb, 2009.
We estimate your order will be delivered to your shipping address
on or before 04 Feb, 2009.

I bought the new MacBook day of release. It sucks I can't get that same deal on an iLife upgrade with my Mac (As I would love to have faces and places), but even for $79 bucks they are throwing i n more features than Adobe does between CS's

Believe me, we've all gone through the same dilemma with our MBAir's bought in August, b/c we wanted to take advantage of the EDU discount, the free iPod Touch and free printer. And 4-5 months later my $1699 plus tax MBAir is selling for $999 or less. Thats $700 in depreciation that I can never get back...:(
