So I have a 2009 MBP With an older version of iLife and my bother has the 2010 MBP that came with iLife 2011. I was wondering if I can install the iLife from his box onto my computer. I tried it once but it said that it doesn't go with this hardware. Is there a way to go around that? Anyone else tried this?

Duff-Man says...the discs that come with a computer are specific for that make and model and not intended for use on other models.
Additionally, you are *not licensed* to install it on your computer. If you want to use it, buy your own copy...oh yeah!
