Hey folks. I have a g4 superdrive imac and went to install ilife 4 that I had bought off of ebay. When the install DVD spun and I clicked install, it told me that I had to close all applications (iphoto, idvd, imovie, itunes, garageband) before continuing. Here is my problem, none of them were open!. I restarted and shutdown, and I still got this message. I had to force quit idvd earlier in the evening if that has anything to do with it. Thanks in advance.

You might want to check your System Preferences/Accounts/Startup Items and see if iTunesHelper is set to load on startup. If so remove it and all should be well. This was added in iTunes 4.7.1 and I have no idea what purpose this app serves.

Ummm.... I might have been wrong with the introduction version, have you checked your Startup Items?
