I am looking at buying an Emac specs are 700 Mhz 256mb 120gb and 4x superdrive........Is anybody running a 700 Mhz with garageband and idvd 4 fully tested and completely.....working ????????????
Apple give the minimum spec of 733Mhz for idvd 4 and garageband, there isn't really much of an increase in processing power in that 33 Mhz.. is there..surely not
HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP I NEEDDDDDDDDD TO NOOOOOOOOOOOO ITS KILLING ME.......

just so you know

it works just fine on my G3 600Mhz iBook, but I have 640 RAM. As for iDVD, it didn't install when I put in the disk and sent it on its way. Now, $50, I think garageband is worth that much, but I really don't know if iDVD will install or that 33Mhz will make it not. Might want to add some RAM to your Mac, and you should do fine with garageband.
