i've just finished doing a clean install of Snow Leopard and then installed iLife 09. The problem is that when i check for updates within iPhoto or Garageband, it says there are updates available, so i click to install updates and when Apple software update loads it says that my apps are up to date and wont install the updates!!. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Try installing this first and then checking for updates again. Alternatively, try downloading the individual updates for the applications from support.apple.com/downloads as disk images to apply them. Also check to make sure that your iLife applications haven't been renamed/relocated which can cause issues with updating.

Thank You!!!! :) I had moved the apps into folders. Moved them out and software update picked them up. Does this mean i have to have one flat file structure within Applications?
