I was just thinking to myself that some elements of iOS 7 to a certain extent (not entirely) remind me of the marketing for iLife 05. I loved the box and icons for iLife 05. They were beautiful. iLife before and after that version featured the photograph-look of iOS 6. The exception to this was iLife 11, which featured icons similar to the swatches in the WWDC preview image. Wonder if the team at Apple that did iLife 05 or 11 had influence on iOS 7.

iLife 05 in particular had a whimsical and simultaneously very simple look, which I think maybe iOS 7 is trying for. I think iLife 05's images better achieved that look, though.
