I have ordered the $29 Snow Leopard disc. I have iLife '08 and iWork '08 already installed on my iMac and am not planning to upgrade them. Will they both work with Snow Leopard without issues?

System 10.6.4 and iMovie '08 (7.0)
I tried to install iMovie'08 with System 10.6.4, as I want to install iMovie HD (for having back the timeline and several audiolines).
It let me install iMovie'08 (after hiding '09 in an extra folder). But when I try to open it, it says I can't use this version with this system.
So in my case it doesn't work together.
Any ideas what I could try?
