On one of my Macs of course
Aloha everyone,

This may sound really elementary, but I'm a bit ignorant of the way Apple deals with new versions of iLife, as I've been using Apple products for just over a year now. I'm currently downloading the iWork '08 trial, and was wondering if a trial version of iLife08 exists. This one is a 30-day demo version, like the demo that came on my iMac. I would like to at least try out some of the new iLife features before I buy, especially after reading some of the threads here hehehe :D Any response will be greatly appreciated.

Mahalo,

Nope. Doesn't require a key to validate, so don't hold your breath for a trial version here. It won't happen.

That is because iWork requires a license key.
iLife does not.

There would be no difference between the "trial" and the real thing.

edit: I see netdog edited his post before I got a chance to respond. D'oh!

Unfortunately there is no trial.

The problem with an iLife trial is the size of the download. Sure they could remove some themes etc. but as it stands to download iLife you would be looking at a 3.6GB download, compared to the 469MBdownload for the iWork trial. This is probably the reason for the lack of a trial.

This quote has been widely attributed to Anais Nin, as well as to Goethe.

It's actually from the Talmud.
