Hi.

I still have iLife'09 wich came with my iMac, so it's time to get the new iLife'11.

Where should I get it? Mac App Store or the disk retail version?

If I get it in the App Store, what happens with iDVD and iWeb?

If I get the retail version, can I add it to my App Store account?

Get it from the App Store. Since iDVD and iWeb aren't available on the App Store, you'll just be buying iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand (they're not a set on the App Store, so you'll just be buying them individually). You already have the latest versions of iDVD and iWeb, since they didn't update them with iLife '11. They won't be deleted from the computer, so you can just keep using them as you have been.

The only advantage of the boxed version in this case is probably a $5 price difference, but the App Store versions may receive free updates in the future (obviously we don't know yet) and can be used on multiple computers and redownloaded at any time. The boxed versions cannot be added to your Mac App Store account.
