illuminated advertising/light AD of apple/original

hi
i am new here, i am working on mac since apple exists, a afficionado ;-) . and i have one collectible, where i would like to know more about.

it is a outdoor light ad, about 1 m high and 60 cm. i know the logo apple must be in the time about the 80's, because the same logo is on the porsche le mans, published in 80ies.

does anybody knows more about it? it try to attach a jpg of it.

Is the logo itself three dimensional? Perhaps a pic from the side, please?
