That's hideous. Really gaudy, and not very practical if you charge it on your nightstand. I prefer the illuminous one.

OP, does your friend plan to make a model for the new dock?

Thanks for the support! I'm not so sure about the new dock. If this is successful, he might just do it for the new dock as well

This, on the other hand, sucks. It's like having a strand of Christmas lights right by your head as you're trying to go to sleep.
