Hi everybody!
On previous versions of Illustrator you had an option in Prefrences where you could check the option to "Paste Remember Layer". Now it's nowhere in CS3 Preferences, or any other menu or window...am I missing something very obvious here (like where the option is located now or a new feature that replaces it) or that option is just no longer available.
Very useful...copy object in one file and when pasted in another file it remembered what layer it was in and pasted it accordingly. If the layered didn't exist in the document you where pasting, it would create the layer before pasting.

EDIT - Option is still there, just in a different place (options within the layers dock)...sorry guys, should've looked better before posting...at least the outcome was a happy one
