Illustrator CS5 Mask Selection Issue

Hi-
I am an experienced Desktop Publisher who has ben using Illustrator since version 7.

I have an issue/question that is driving me crazy if anyone can help.

In every version of Illustrator I have used, when you selected a mask, it also highlighted/activated all of the objects it is masking.

Now in CS5, I click on a mask, and ONLY the mask shows highlighted/activated till you unmask.

Why?
Is there a way to change this?

I like to see all elements the mask is being applied to without unmasking.
