I have two G4's, one running tiger, the other os9.2.

They are networked together and I want to upgrade the 9.2 machine to tiger as well. I own CS2 and was wondering if I could install only Illustrator on the old 9.2 (once it is upgraded to tiger) – without purchasing Illustrator.

I realize I will need to pop for a version of tiger... but Illustrator too?

Can I just install Illustrator from my CS2 disks with out problems. Will I experience any problems if the machines are networked together, can I Illustrator on both machines?

My reason for this is that I need a separate workstation with only Illustrator.

There is no "activation" for Adobe Illustrator. Most likely it would work flawlessly, though I am not sure if its against the license agreement or not,as I do not have illustrator.

Illustrator CS2 will not need activation. It is also legal to install the software on no more than two machines, as long as both installs are not used at the same time... i.e. by two different people simultaneously.
